Cancellation Policy & Refunds

At Emily's Notary Services, we understand that circumstances may arise that require the cancellation or rescheduling of notary services. We strive to accommodate our clients' needs while also ensuring the smooth operation of our business. To provide clarity and maintain fairness, we have established the following cancellation policy:

 

 

​Cancellation Notice: Clients must provide a minimum of 24 hour notice prior to the scheduled appointment time to cancel or reschedule their notary service. This allows us to adjust our schedule and potentially accommodate other clients.

Contacting Us: Clients are required to contact us directly to notify us of the cancellation or rescheduling request. We encourage clients to use their preferred communication method, such as phone, email, or online booking system. Contact: emilysnotaryservices97@gmail.com or 806-231-6647

Late Cancellations/No Shows: If a client fails to provide the required cancellation notice or does not show up for the scheduled appointment without prior notification you will be sent a reminder of the missed appointment and the opportunity to reschedule the appoint without additional cost.  However, your initial deposit is non-refundable.

Rescheduling: Clients who wish to reschedule their notary service may do so by providing the required notice. We will make every effort to accommodate the new preferred appointment time based on availability.

 

Refunds: If a client cancels their notary service within the allowed cancellation notice period, any prepaid fees will be refunded in full except the non-refundable deposit fee. Refunds will be processed using the original payment method. Processing time my vary due to your financial institution. Due to the type of services we offer if you have already received notarization of your document(s) this is not eligible for refund. 

 

Exceptional Circumstances: In certain situations beyond a client's control, such as severe illness, emergencies, or unforeseen events, we understand that cancellations may occur without sufficient notice. We encourage clients to contact us as soon as possible in such cases, and we will review the situation on a case-by-case basis to determine if any fees can be waived or reduced.

Emergency Circumstances on our End: If we are unable to meet for the notary appointment for any reason all payments made before the appointment, including the non-refundable deposit will be refunded using the original payment method provided

 

Policy Modifications: Emily's Notary Services reserves the right to modify this cancellation policy at any time. Any changes will be communicated to clients through our website, email, or other appropriate means. The updated policy will be effective for future appointments.
